Tower of Babel

How do you read the Constitution in a foreign language? It’s a question that I’m sure Samuel Huntington ┬ácan answer. On the other hand, I doubt the brains behind the seemingly inexorable tragedy engineered by the Gang of Eight could articulate a cogent reply. They’re too busy focusing on optics and ways to sell their new and improved crap sandwich.

As Mr. Levin says, it’s difficult enough to communicate the importance of this nation’s founding documents to ┬ápeople whose native tongue is English. Just imagine how much harder the task will be once we add millions more who speak one of the 300+ languages other than English to the multilingual mix!

A sobering prospect to think about as we head into the weekend.
