There’s a great benefit for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy being held later tonight at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn. You can purchase tickets here, or buy them at the door. More details after the jump.

Brooklyn Relief: A night of words, music, and comedy to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts with 100% of Proceeds to Hurricane Sandy Relief – 50% to the Red Hook Initiative  and 50% to The NY Communities Hurricane Relief Fund.

Featuring Henry Alford, Jonathan Ames, Amy Sohn, Charles Star, Dan Wilbur, Elna Baker, and Francisco Goldman – Plus, musical guests Andy Friedman and Natalia Zukerman

Join Union Hall and some of our favorite local authors and musicians for a night of Sandy Relief efforts with 100% of proceeds to benefit Sandy victims. 
Shirts will also be for sale featuring the logo associated with this event designed by local artist Christine Nimocks – buy one at the show or by going to NY Shirts For Sandy. to order online – 100% of profit after shirt production will be given to charity.
Andy Friedman’s hand-drawn portraits and New Yorker Cartoons will be available for purchase as well as autographed books from the above authors with all proceeds going to Sandy Relief Efforts.
