Most people despair of changing the minds of their local alderman or councilman, let alone the “representative” who sits in a remote office somewhere on Capitol Hill. But one way you can influence the debate over immigration is to reach out to those closest to you, including your neighbors. To that end, Picket Across America has devised a plan you can implement with relatively little effort tomorrow morning and afternoon.
Here are the details:
Line the streets of America and take a stand against illegal immigration. Hold a sign that reads,”CAN YOU HEAR US NOW” on one side and your thoughts about illegal immigration on the other. Let’s show Washington that We the People have spoken and have made our wishes clear. Now we demand that something be done about them. Let the majority rule! Tell everyone you know, make fliers and distribute them to people you see on the street. If 84% of the population is against illegal immigration, then we need all of them out in their towns today. Spread the word!
