The summer movie season is upon us, but in addition to the usual action-packed blockbusters which never fail to disappoint, there are a host of comedies that attempt to tickle the average moviegoer’s funny bone. One such film is Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West, which has a rather clever premise, despite its creator’s singular ineptitude for creating anything remotely entertaining-embodied perfectly by his television showpiece

I invite you to watch my palaver with Todd Seavey-admitted MacFarlane devotee-about this contentious subject. Feel free to contribute your own thoughts on contemporary comedy-of the animated and live-action kind-in the comments below.

Well I didn’t listen to your podcast yet, however in reading your write-up I had to just ask. You’re not a Seth MacFarlane fan are you? I must admit though his two movies he made so far could’ve easily been episodes of both Family Guy & American Dad.

That doesn’t surprise me in the least.
