Signatures are on a letter to Michael Grimm telling him that he must stick to the strong anti-amnesty position he campaigned on when he was first elected to Congress in 2010. He is one of the several Republican congressman whose vote could go either way on the amnesty for illegal aliens issue. The other side is exerting efforts to sway him their way and we are trying to counter this with our petition drives.
I sent the letter with the 27 signatures certified mail to Michael Grimm’s Staten Island and Washington DC offices today.
We have now sent him 82 signatures.
Next petition drive at Whitehall Ferry entrance will be Wednesday 8/21 at 5:15 PM
