Arizona Under Assault

I thought this would be a good time to remind our readers of where SB 1070-the law that sparked both the national movement to crack down on border jumpers and the countervailing movement among its opponents to economically and politically isolate Arizona, led by the Obama administration-currently stands.

The Arzona Republic recently published a story detailing the legal challenges faced by Arizona, the parties trying to obstruct and/or overturn SB 1070, and the rulings of Judge Susan Bolton, in whose court these lawsuits will be adjudicated. It’s compulsory reading for those of you who have followed the fate of this law with interest over the course of this year.
