The Bane of the Cheap Labor Lobby
It turns out that a convergence of factors is forcing the mainstream media’s favorite martyrs to raise wage rates beyond subsistence levels. It’s bad enough that our nation’s put-upon farmers have to pay their imported peons a reasonable wage, but now they’re being forced to hire American teenagers! Have you ever heard of such madness?! There must be a simpler solution, like slavery perhaps.
I mean, it worked for the Romans, didn’t it?
