Notwithstanding the musings of Senator Robert Menendez-a man whose employment of an illegal alien sex offender illustrates the perils of leaving immigration to the discretion of this administration-the amnesty crafted by the Gang of Eight remains on course for passage by a majority of the U.S. Senate. Continued impoverishment and unemployment for Americans is just one of consequences of this bill, should it be enacted into law. Thankfully, there are many conservatives-who speak not only for themselves or the profit motive of their benefactors, but the majority sentiment of Americans-who have taken a courageous stance against this preventable disaster.
