In the hallowed tradition of Tammany Hall, New York City’s Democratic Party apparatus has found yet another way to bastardize our city’s electoral process. The anti-American caucus on the City Council has decided to moot a bill which would permit non-citizen voting in municipal elections. Where Comrade Di Blasio stands on this matter remains to be seen, although considering some of his recent actions regarding undocumented citizens, it’s not to hard to imagine him signing this proposal into law.
After all, why bother cultivating actual voters when you can simply mint new ones?
