We would just like to wish our readers a very happy Christmas Eve-and an extremely merry Christmas, since we won’t be posting tomorrow-as well as a chag Chanukah sameach to our Jewish friends on the final night of the Festival of Lights. We spend a lot of time on this website lamenting the woes of the world, and attempting to formulate solutions to the many seemingly intractable problems we face as a society, but we should also take some time to cherish the health and welfare of those closest to us.
Take the time later today and tomorrow to relax with your family and your friends. And maybe take a leisurely stroll around the block to check out some of the more ostentatious light displays of your neighbors.
