From Joanna Marzullo, founder and president of New Yorkers for Immigration Control and Enforcement, comes word of an upcoming pro-amnesty rally slated to take place in lower Manhattan. Chances are this one will ape open borders outbursts of years past.

Hi, NY ICers,

NY ICE will be countering a pro-illegal alien demonstration on Saturday, June 28th at noon. The details are below.

This is likely to be a fairly typical one, with their standard rhetoric and emphasis on their families, and making themselves out to be victims. At their demonstrations at that location in the past, they have formed a human chain, often blocking traffic to do so. So, expect something similar at this one.

In terms of our sound bites, please try to emphasize how destructive all this illegal mass migration is to our families. “Families” is a KEY WORD, a BUZZ WORD, and we have to reclaim it and strategize using that word.

I like to say, “Their ‘better life’ is costing me mine. Their ‘better life’ comes at a cost to my family.”

Far be it from me to praise National Review-especially the feckless leadership of its current editor-in-chief-but when it’s right, it’s right.

And in this case, NR is absolutely correct. John Boehner-never a profile in courage-needs to be reminded why he is the Speaker of the House. Here’s a clue: it’s not to fulfill the wish list of La Raza and the Democratic Party. Tell him and his deputies to KILL THE BILL, because that’s the only way the Republican Party-and the nation-will be able to dig itself out of the hole we find ourselves in.

The illegals are trying, once again, to exploit Father’s Day, and they are having a protest in front of the Federal ICE Detention Center to protest “detained illegal alien fathers”.

Jim M. is organizing the counter protest to this.

Here are the Details:

WHAT: NY ICE Counter Protest Against NYers for Real Immigration Reform

WHEN: This Friday, June 14th, 2013, at 12 NOON

WHERE: Federal ICE Detention Center at 201 Varick Street in Manhattan. (The nearest subway is the #1 to Houston St.)

BRING: Cameras!!! It’s very important to bring cameras! And, signs! Signs should be simple, in bold-faced lettering. “NO Amnesty” is a good sign.

Bucking The Status Quo

True to form, Governor Chris Christie has appointed a pliant crony to the seat vacated by the death of Frank Lautenberg. However, New Jersey voters will have a choice on October 16th as to who will represent them in the U.S. Senate. This is the perfect opportunity to challenge the dismal GOP establishment and moribund New Jersey GOP. Steve Lonegan, a genuinely grassroots conservative and crusader against the onerous tax burden his state’s lawmakers have imposed upon their constituents, has already announced his candidacy.

I urge all of our readers who live in the Garden State to help him along-the deadline for the petitioning stage ends this Sunday-which you can do by following the steps outlined on his Facebook page. You can find his campaign page here. Let’s change the face of the Soprano State.

Stop The Gang Of Eight

Notwithstanding the musings of Senator Robert Menendez-a man whose employment of an illegal alien sex offender illustrates the perils of leaving immigration to the discretion of this administration-the amnesty crafted by the Gang of Eight remains on course for passage by a majority of the U.S. Senate. Continued impoverishment and unemployment for Americans is just one of consequences of this bill, should it be enacted into law. Thankfully, there are many conservatives-who speak not only for themselves or the profit motive of their benefactors, but the majority sentiment of Americans-who have taken a courageous stance against this preventable disaster.

The antidote to Chuck Schumer Republicanism can be found in a coalition of conservative activists opposing this bill that have created a site to voice their views, Stop The Gang Of Eight. You can add your name to the voices of opposition by signing their petition decrying S. 744. Let’s turn that voice in the wilderness into a raging clamor to defend the rights and interests of Americans.

Our opposition will, once again, be pushing for the D.R.E.A.M. amnesty this coming Tuesday, March 28th, 2013. NY ICE will likely be the only ones counter protesting them.

Here are the details:

WHAT: NY ICE counter protest AGAINST the D.R.E.A.M. Amnesty at Baruch College

WHEN: This Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 at 1pm

WHERE: CUNY, Baruch College’s campus quad located at 151 East 25th Street (between Lexington & 3rd Ave),in Manhattan. (Their rain location is indoors at the William & Anita Newman Conference Center).

BRING: As always, bring cameras and signs! Jim M. should have extra signs if you can’t bring one, but, of course, signs should be simple and bold-faced. Ideas for signage include:
