Or, at the very least, put on hiatus until the next state budget. Governor Cuomo’s attempt to provide free college tuition to illegal immigrants has been thwarted. The Associated Press has more details on the somewhat impractical free tuition plan.

Patriots and the Confused Left Both March in New York.

March 25, 2017 – 1 PM – Patriots marched in support of TRUMP and #MAGA in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, across from the U.N.

In NYC the actual march didn’t seem to happen, though about 40 Trumpers gathered first at Trump Tower – at 11 am- and then walked to the gathering in the UN Park. So, you could say there was a mini-march. A peaceful gathering. DIVERSE (as always).

Once at the rally, I saw a nice solid assemblage of patriots. Not huge, but not tiny either. Maybe 100 or even a bit more.

And lots of banners….

Heard a few speeches of support for Trump’s America. The main speaker was immigration enforcement expert, Michael Cutler. Cutler has 30 years of experience as an Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) agent.

He was followed briefly by Jimmy McMillan, founder of The Rent Is Too Damn High Party.

Found a few anti-Trump protestors across the street with impeachment issues.

No matter the conflicting Chinese factions …

…. the mood stayed uplifted amongst the MAGA crowd.

There was, also, a disturbing faction that attached itself to this Trump Rally: the Larouchies. [see Lyndon LaRouche Party – Wiki] Way too many La Rouch signs and clip boards in-hand as they worked to recruit New Larouchies.

These weird groupies, will they become a trend at the NY Republican rallies? Hope not.

Then there was Gary Phaneuf – a ‘professional” heckler – and Chairman Mao’s faithful disciple. Gary walked through the Republican crowd with his Trump cap, Trump-Putin sign and his Communist China Daily rag. What happened? Why are the Trump rallies attracting these bizarre creatures?

Whatever, the many group of patriots were on message with the National Anthem. The Pledge-of-Allegiance as well as plenty of smiles and good-will.

Two marches in one day with the Patriots vs the Socialists. On my way to the #MAGA rally, I stopped by the “People” March for a Free Press protest/rally

It was Noon in Bryant Park (42nd and Sixth ave) just a couple of avenues from the NY Times.(another mini-march) It’s the gesture that matters, ’cause they are ‘marching”.

Their aim was to show SUPPORT for a Free Press while resisting Trump’s “Fascist” America.

Trying to LOOK Patriotic – after all, resistance is patriotic – they spoke of the Constitution, the American Revolution and claimed their protest was a living example of what our Founding Fathers fought for. The TRUTH will keep us FREE.

So, now all those racist, dead WHITE males are okay?

Holding large and small American flags while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance the speakers’ focused on, Trump and his minions who they claim oppose a Free Press. And Fox news. Of course.

TRUMP is a threat to PATRIOTIC Americans, like themselves; a danger to the NY Slimes and … a Free Press…

(People for a Free Press & Tax The Rich) Couple this display with their signs, masquerading as patriotic Americans, resulted in a confused message (for some).

Passers-by wondered, “For or against the NY Times?”

The NEW Socialist Left, inquiring minds want to know, are they the real patriots? Exposing those fools who support President Trump and Fox News. The fight is on for WHO represents a patriotic, FREE Press America.

Even the NY Times seemed to ignore this rally. Saw lots of photographers, but found no reports. (Too peaceful, I guess).

I did read that nationwide, things were not as peaceful in the Peoples Republic of California and Omaha, of all places. Were the aggressors plants? Were they really Trump supporters?

“Violence erupted at a “Make America Great Again” rally in California. (and) more than 1,500 miles away, counter-protesters also caused chaos at a Trump rally in Omaha. The ruckus did not disrupt the rally, but it saddened some of the Trump supporters. “Today was a perfect example of how divided we have all gotten,” said Shayla McShannon, 36.”

Still, NYC was TAME in comparison. But, whether a fight with fists or a battle for a FREE Press. A battle for the TRUTH vs propaganda is a seriously important pursuit. I left the Peoples Protest. Heading to the U.N Trump supporters with this thought,

Holding a large American flag, saying the pledge of allegiance. These are not hallmark of a hanging-on-the-Left crowd. Yet they do manage to deliver the photo-ops the media enjoys. Winning? In some circles. With the help of that Free Press, can they sucker the public in to thinking this is the NEW America?

Beating Back The Wolf

Although it’s too late to participate in the Walk To End Lupus, which will take place later today in New York City, those of you who care deeply about this issue can still contribute to the cause. One of the main ways, of course, being education and outreach. The Lupus Foundation of America is a national voluntary health organization which supports individuals and communities while advancing clinical research into this misunderstood disease. Another fantastic resource is Lupus Friends & Family, a support group which we’ve profiled in the past. Take some time during this month to learn about a chronic illness which directly effects over a million and half Americans, and impacts the lives of millions more.

The Public Trough

One of the underreported benefits of open borders is its seemingly inexhaustible capacity to enable cronyism. A perfect example being the recent decision by Mayor Bill De Blasio to give a six figure salary-courtesy of New York taxpayers-to his aide’s girlfriend. As the Post reports, the ostensible purpose of this position is to lobby the federal government to do away with whatever remaining immigration controls it has decided to enforce, i.e. wholesale legislative amnesty.

No wonder so many New Yorkers are having buyer’s remorse.

Who’s Ready For Hypocrisy?

This is by far my favorite sign of the 2016 presidential race. It was held aloft by the intrepid truth-teller Gabriel Hernandez, who-along with our friends at NY ICE-crashed Hillary Clinton’s vacuous photo op at Roosevelt Island. Due to the draconian restrictions imposed by Madame Hillary’s security team, he wasn’t allowed to carry it into the actual event. That said, I think his message was received. NY ICE has coverage under on its Recent Items page.

Kudos to everyone who decided to bring a much-needed dose of reality to a woman who’s the modern-day answer to Richard Nixon, without any of his charm or charisma.

June 2015, New York, NY. NY ICE went to counter Clinton’s launch campaign in Roosevelt Island because of her support for those illegally in our Country and efforts to undermine our Sovereignty.

Please note how a “DREAMER” was allowed to make a speech at her launch party.

Below is a synopsis of the event from Gabriel, in his own words:

When NY ICE finally met on the Island, we decided to walk towards the event. Now, keep this in mind that when we arrived, we thought that we weren’t going to get very close to Hillary. We thought that we were going to end up waiting outside the park. However, on our way to the park, we saw a group of people giving away tickets. At first, I thought we had to pay for the tickets. But, fortunately, they were giving the tickets away for free. (N.B.: So much for it being “booked to capacity” as Hillary’s campaign had lied). Thus, it was NY ICE that was the ONLY counter demonstrators who were in the middle of the action.

When we arrived at the venue, it started off boring. A few boring speakers, a few boring bands performing songs that were irrelevant to the main theme of the event. There even was a DREAMER making a speech. This DREAMER was a woman from Houston, Texas. She was talking about how the “immigrants” deserve to have the same rights like everyone. Of course she’s referring to ILLEGAL ALIENS! She even did the speech in SPANISH for crying out loud! So, out of disgust, Jim, Dave, and I turned our backs! It was I who initiated the action by turning my back first!

So after more boring talk and 1 hour later, Hillary finally comes out. Like every other politician, she talks about the same old garbage. Plus, she was reading out of teleprompter which makes her another actor. She was talking about how she wants a nation with “no ceilings.” Please read between the lines on that statement. When she said no ceilings, she meant a nation without borders and a free for all! As she was making her typical lying speech, I had the audacity to make comments. Comments such as: “You’re lying” or “Do you mean illegal aliens?” or “same old lying promises.” As I was making these comments, Hillary’s supporters gave me dirty looks. Others were screaming over me when I was about to make the comment, trying so that way I wouldn’t be able to make my point. These are the “tolerant Liberals” that the media talks about. Oh well!

Half way through the speech, we decided to leave the park. Fortunately for us, we weren’t alone. There were anti-Clinton supporters demonstrating outside of the park.

We decided to stay for a while, talking to the other anti-demonstrators. After another hour, the supporters were leaving in numbers. As the Hillary Clinton supporters were leaving, we were met with a very hostile crowd. They cursed at us, they said words such as “go home!” or “Go to hell”, the typical stuff. As a matter of fact, as I was recording, one of the Clinton supporters got physical with me. She even wanted to take my camera away. She got mad at me because I was recording her. But, I was standing my ground. I said to her that we are in a public space and that I have free speech. (N.B.: Video #3 demonstrates this).

In conclusion it was very good counter demonstration! I look forward for the future events with NY ICE!

La Voz De Mob

As an addendum to Andrew Cuomo’s Dream Act reversal, we’d like to once again praise the tireless efforts of NY ICE in opposition to this deeply misguided and harmful bill. You can read the thoughts of Joanna Marzullo, who I’m sure you’re all familiar with by now, on the recent items section of her organization’s website. It’s worth noting that Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, who is responsible for similarly destructive pieces of legislation on a municipal level, vociferously supports the looting of taxpayers in order to give illegal immigrants living in this state a free ride through college. Rodriguez is a vivid illustration of the perils of third world, mass immigration.

A policy of unfettered immigration, married to ethnic polarization, state-endorsed multiculturalism and partisan voting patterns-New York City being a bastion of left Democratic ideology for a number of reasons, including the outsized strength of public sector unions-leads to Americans being governed by individuals who have no interest in protecting the rights and privileges of U.S. citizens. It leads, in fact, to the absurdity of a legislative body, in the form of the New York City Council, whose members, in Mr. Rodriguez’s case, do not even speak the English language.

If this isn’t a justifiable reason to oppose allegedly benign proposals like the Dream Act, then I don’t know what is.

Dream On

One of the hallmarks of the open borders movement in this country, beyond its contempt for the basic concept of national sovereignty, is its overwhelming sense of entitlement. And no branch of the movement exhibits this trait more conspicuously than the media-created phenomenon known as the Dreamers, i.e., illegal immigrants who were brought to this country as children. A perfect illustration of this petulant self-regard is the impending threat of Dreamers to go on a hunger strike because Governor Cuomo has not deferred to their will. Naturally, the Marxist academics at the City University of New York have thrown their support behind this piece of political theater, even as the rest of the state figuratively shrugs.

Kudos to Jim MacDonald-pictured in the Daily News article linked to above-and other members of NY ICE for standing in opposition to yet another attempt to extort money from New York taxpayers in order to defray the living expenses of people whose families should not even be in this country in the first place. Jim alerted me to this story earlier this week, before Governor Cuomo’s volte-face forced the intended recipients of the Dream Act to cry into their microphones.

Finally, a victory for American citizens.

Personal and Public Ethics

The resignation of John Kitzhaber should come as no surprise to those of us who’ve been monitoring the career of both he and his inamorata, whose recent past includes the disclosure of immigration fraud. A revelation that dovetailed perfectly with this particular couple’s militant open borders activism, including an ACLU-endorsed campaign to invest illegal aliens with drivers’ licenses. Although the proximate cause of Kitzhaber’s ignominious retirement from public life is the dubious green energy scheme-a hallmark of Obamanomics-which lined the pockets of Oregon’s former first lady, the fact that both of these individuals are trusted members of the treason lobby should not escape notice.

Granted, the corruption of elected and unelected officials seems to be endemic to American public life, as the police lineup of this state’s criminals, i.e. politicians, attests to. However, it’s worth exploring the connection between officeholders who routinely disparage the law, at least, as it’s applied to their favorite constituency, and the cavalier way these same officials treat the laws they are sworn to uphold in their personal and professional lives. After all, Mr. Kitzhaber is not the first, nor likely the last, open borders apparatchik who will leave office in disgrace.

Walk Out Of Darkness

I don’t often use this space for personal appeals, but feel compelled to do so today. In addition to losing my uncle, John Marmo, earlier this year to suicide, my best friend, Fiona Fort, took her life after struggling with the chronic pain of depression for most of her adult life. Even if you are fortunate enough to have never grieved the loss of a loved one to this disease-or to know someone suffering from suicidal ideation-I urge those of you who can to contribute to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Denver Metro Walk Out of the Darkness Community Walk.

You can read my friend Ann’s story and donate to her cause here. Rest assured, it will be put towards a very worthy cause-one that deserves a much more robust and persistent response than it currently receives.

The thoughts and feelings that drive people to this desperate, irrevocable decision come from a vale of internal darkness, but that darkness can be penetrated. This event is one place to begin that process.
