E-verify is just a tool to assist companies in determining who is legal and who is illegal. Congress, both Democrats and Republicans have been using the debate on E-Verify to avoid dealing with the real issue and that is the failure of our government to enforce our immigration laws.We have the laws on the books for years but we have never had enforcement and that is the main reason that the process is broken.
