Several weeks ago, there was a fantastic analysis by Numbers USA’s press watchdog on the common misperception floated by reporters, as well as mass immigration enthusiasts, that immigration to this country is simply a response to supply and demand economics.
This canard is a favorite of libertarian open borders supporters, especially the consistently misguided Will Wilkinson. Although I’m too sick to address this issue in any length at the moment, you can look forward to my deconstruction of the liberaltarian Wilkinson’s bizarre-and not very libertarian, truth be told-philosophy in the weeks ahead.
