… state Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) said Sarsour’s activism – and her support of Sharia Law – makes her unfit to by the speaker at the June commencement.

“She is someone who associates with radical Islamists; supports them; shows support for them. She is someone who has said, clearly, she thinks throwing rocks at cars in Israel is a good thing,” Hikind said.

Hikind was referring to a tweet Sarsour put out on Oct. 11, 2015, showing a young boy apparently throwing rocks at Israelis with the caption saying, “the definition of courage.”

Rigidly defending the President’s precise formulations will always pose a problem for his supporters. I think even his staunchest backers will acknowledge that Donald Trump isn’t Churchillian in his eloquence. That said, nearly every time he is assailed by his pseudo-sophisticated, morally inverted critics in the culturally Marxist press, it turns out that he was correct.

The manufactured controversy surrounding his remarks about Sweden is simply the latest example of the media’s malicious lying and/or stupendous ignorance. No, President Trump wasn’t referring to a specific terrorist attack in Sweden, although there have been jihadist assaults in that nation, including suicide bombings, but rather to the degradation of that country-as well as others in Central and Northern Europe-occurring as a result of catastrophically wrongheaded immigration policies.

What happened last night, as well as many nights before in immigrant-heavy, Islam-friendly towns and cities in that country, is chaos. Rampant sex crime, tribal warfare, widespread rioting-some of which targets members of the liberal press which is so enamored of non-Swedes-and general lawlessness. In spite of the Swedish government’s refusal to acknowledge reality, censorship of hate facts, and systemic coverup of migrant rape of Swedes, the non-brainwashed know what is happening in Europe.

Despite forbidding the collection of statistics which would identify the ethnicity of those committing crimes in Sweden, we still have a very good idea of who is responsible for many of them. For example, 85% of those sentenced to at least 2 years in prison for rape by a Swedish court of appeals were foreign-born or second-generation immigrants. We have firsthand accounts from career law enforcement officers attesting to the culpability of foreign immigrants and refugees in the diverse array of problems Swedes currently face.

The idea that the state and its accomplices in the media can somehow indefinitely cover up the truth in a networked world, where we can read descriptions of what the multicultural boroughs of Europe are actually like, is the height of absurdity. The facts denied and buried by the mainstream media are at the fingertips of those who choose to obtain them. That is something that will not change any time in the near future, no matter how much our ruling class would like to suppress the truth.

One of the most exasperating parts of following news coverage of the latest wave of Islamic atrocities is the deliberately mendacious way these crimes against humanity are portrayed by the Fourth Estate, the Santa attack inside of an Istanbul nightclub being just the latest example of this willful deception. At least the editors of the Daily Beast had the courtesy to enclose that word in quotation marks, but people who didn’t read beyond the headline of this story would probably be under the impression that a deranged mall santa decided to go on  a bloody rampage, a la A Christmas Horror Story. No, this wasn’t a case of an otherwise non-ideological lunatic going postal, or a person cosplaying a scenario from a Batman vs. Joker film.

It was a calculated jihadist methodically mowing down Kufr and infidels-foreign tourists, but also secular Turks who enjoy living in (relative) freedom-as is prescribed in his scripture, i.e. the Koran. This terrorist was acting upon the same impulse as his fellow Turks, some of whom spent the Christmas season holding Santa Claus at gunpoint in order to express their displeasure at a religious/cultural festival which does not involve rivers of blood. When an acquaintance informed me of this massacre on New Year’s Eve, the way he described it made it seem like an utterly random outbreak of ultra-violence. This popular misconception needs to be challenged at every opportunity, because it is literally taking innocent life.

As horrifying as it is to admit that over 11,000 human beings have had their lives erased because of Islam in 2016 alone, this truth needs to be assimilated if we are to ever hope of living in anything approaching Western civilization. People need to reject the comforting delusions which have made these types of massacres more, not less, likely. We are facing a global ideology which is anti-civilization, anti-thought, and anti-humanity.

Saint Nicholas would not be allowed to live in modern-day Turkey, and if Santa Claus existed I’m almost certain he would have been quickly beheaded by one of the many Sunni terrorist groups operating within that country. 2016 should be a wakeup call to those who have been ignoring the exterminationist war being fought against crusaders and infidels. Continuing to live in ignorance is no longer an option.

This past month has been filled with such a glut of information that it’s no surprise some items slipped past  an already news-saturated public. Unfortunately, one event which deserves more scrutiny is the United Kingdom’s decision to enact one of the most draconian invasions of privacy and restrictions of personal liberty in recent memory. The Investigatory Powers Act has a plethora of horrible features, including but not limited to a ban on end-to-end encryption technology, the creation of a criminal offense for unlawfully accessing Internet data, and investing numerous intelligence, police, and government bureaucracies with the ability to see Internet connection records without a warrant.

The video produced by Black Pigeon Speaks is a good primer on this abominable piece of legislation, and I recommend watching it to get a better idea of what awaits the people of the United Kingdom. A nation where you can already be arrested for thought crime. Prepare for the Panopticon. Coming to a nation near you.

Contrary to the misconceptions perpetuated by the news media, the latest Twitter purge is not confined to accounts belonging to the alt right. Nor is it targeted exclusively at those accounts which violate Twitter’s terms of service. As  acclaimed actor James Woods explained in his farewell to the social networking behemoth, this is actually a debate about freedom of expression and the narrowing limits of allowable opinion under our not-so-liberal hegemons. As we’ve been pointing out for months, Jack Dorsey and his underlings view their website as an outlet for repeating the metanarrative of the left and suppressing any dissenting views. Whether it’s critiques of feminist dogma, attacks upon progressive mascots, or questions about the ongoing threats to Western civilization, his team will do everything in its power to squelch heterodox thought.

Now that Twitter’s champion has been consigned to the dustbin of political history, the retaliation will be swift and severe. Not content to choke off the advertising of Clinton opponents, the website will avail itself of every opportunity to silence the voices of anyone whose beliefs contradict those of Dorsey & Co., even if they scrupulously adhere to Twitter’s official guidelines. The idea that this latest purge will be the last, or that it’s only aimed at white nationalist and white supremacist trolls-an argument posited by a conservative I engaged on Twitter in the aftermath of these bans-is simply not born out by the facts. Indeed, one of the most recent suspensions-since lifted-was meted out to Hboulware, a ferociously anti-alt right Never Trumper. Her crime? Criticizing a leftist…on Twitter.

These purges will progress over time. I suspect the next major targets will be sites like InfoWars and Breitbart-the groundwork having been laid by a fake media campaign-followed shortly thereafter by bans on people like James O’Keefe and the pro-life activist Lila Rose, who’ve humiliated both the institutional left and their enablers in the press corps. You can expect Twitter to then gun for counter-jihad accounts belonging to free speech and anti-sharia activists like Pamela Geller, Bosch Fawstin, and Robert Spencer. It wouldn’t shock me at all if there were calls to ban the President-elect from Twitter. I’m sure his name is already on the SPLC’s new list for future memory holing of unsafe content.

The ultimate goal of these targeted bans/suspensions is to turn Twitter into a fiscally insolvent social justice hug box. One where no opinions to the left of Norman Ornstein ever sully the pristine minds of emotionally and intellectually stunted Tumblristas. The autistic invocation of the 1st Amendment by leftists whenever one of these purges is conducted is particularly galling when you consider their innate hostility to freedom of association and private property. The same people who believe that you don’t have dominion over your apartment, your business, or your private club-and assert that these are public accommodations in court-are now lecturing us on the parameters of free speech in the United States.

Whether or not Twitter is eventually superseded by a digital platform dedicated to free and open expression remains to be seen. However, we should take away an important lesson from this latest installment of the social media wars. Namely, that there is nothing liberal about the regressive left.

Despite the hope that President-elect Trump would usher in a new era of political toleration-after 1st Amendment critic Hillary Clinton’s historic loss-the fact remains that our institutions of higher learning are controlled by people who value dogma over truth. The latest illustration of this being my friend Oleg Atbashian’s arrest for wrong think on the campus of George Mason University.

Daniel Greenfield’s report-which includes Oleg’s firsthand account of his political detention-is worth reading in its entirety, as is Pamela Geller’s writeup of the incident, which points out that this is the same university which recently hired a “reformed” jihadist as an anti-terrorism scholar. This is yet another reminder that draining the swamp doesn’t merely apply to the incestuous, corrupt corporate-government alliance in Washington D.C. It is a metaphor for purging our society of the anti-freedom, anti-rational, multiculturalist dogma espoused by the regressive left. A mindset which, unfortunately, predominates within our cultural institutions.

Oleg’s arrest is merely the latest volley in an unceasing campaign to crush any dissent from the cultural Marxism which has seeped throughout the core of our civilization. He lived the first 4 decades of his life in a nation whose vitality had been hollowed out by Communism. Surrounded by people who had been infected by soul mange, whose personal morality and ethic had been eroded by living in a society built upon lies, which is why he became an American. We can’t let the same process unfold here.

I took the image you see above in my old stomping grounds of Bay Ridge, which has earned the moniker Beirut in recent years, for obvious reasons. Aside from the Alpine Theater-which was in danger of being added to the adjacent mosque at one point-and Galaxy Comics, you would be hard-pressed to find a building along Bay Ridge or 5th Avenue whose awning was not covered in Arabic script. Judging by the number of hookah bars, halal restaurants and food carts, not to mention demure apparel shops for the fashion forward 7th century Muslima, a tourist would be forgiven for thinking he’d landed somewhere in the Maghreb rather than southwest Brooklyn.

Lest you think the Islamic Leadership Of New York is merely a benign group of patriotic citizens, here is the website mobilizing this New York’s civic-minded Muslims. Although seemingly under construction, you will notice a few things which belie the red, white and blue messaging of the banner seen in my photograph. Leaving aside the fact that every member of this group’s executive committee is a man-I’m sure there’s absolutely no Koranic basis for that anomaly-you’ll also notice a few other oddities, including the prominent place of unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings and former Louis Farrakhan acolyte  Siraj Wahhaj. After all, what could be more quintessentially American, more mom and apple pie, than working with the leader of a mosque which invites 9/11 truthers to expatiate on topics of public interest and believes this country serves no greater purpose than to enlarge upon the Caliphate?

Perhaps North American offshoots of the Muslim Brotherhood, several of which are members of Majlis Ashura, including the Islamic Circle of North America, Mohammed Morsi’s old pals. It almost makes you wonder if those Americans who oppose resettling tens of thousands of Syrian Muslim refugees in the United States might be on to something after all. Is it possible that the adulatory praise Muslims receive from the American press corps, and the self-serving dawah Muslims themselves churn out for public consumption, is simply a load of manipulative crap? These are questions begging to be asked, especially since the leading presidential candidate’s closest aide is a woman intimately linked to radical Islamists.

That’s right, in addition to being an unofficial political liaison for rich donors to the elaborate money-laundering scheme known as the Clinton Foundation, Huma Abedin is also the daughter of a woman who-like most Pakistanis-doesn’t believe in quaint Western customs like women’s emancipation. Saleha Abedin does believe that Muslims in the diaspora-men, at the very least-are entitled to the full panoply of rights and privileges, including, presumably, the right not to have their religious beliefs critically examined by non-Muslims. In fairness, her parents were recruited to Saudi Arabia for the express purpose of proselytizing for the Muslim World League, an anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, Wahhabist NGO bankrolled by the Saudi government, so these beliefs shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Whether these beliefs influenced their daughter is an open to question, but the fact that no mainstream media outlet has deigned to ask that question tells you how thoroughly corrupt the fourth estate has become. While European nations are having their national identities effaced under a flood of migration, America is undergoing its own radical transformation which is being cheered on by the ruling class. The lives our our fellow citizens are under attack, both literally and figuratively, by invaders it has welcomed into this country and their instinctive reaction is to condemn the victims of these assaults. If the Majlis Ashura gets its way, expect more attempts to squelch the speech of its perceived enemies. Their preferred candidate has already promised as much in private. After all, what difference does it make?

This time in France, a nation where 200 people have been murdered-some after undergoing indescribable torture-and over 800 people maimed in the past year alone. Just as previous generations pondered important questions, e.g. is it live, or is it Memorex? So too we have to repeatedly ask ourselves, is it Islam or insanity? Does it really matter to the past or future victims of Islamic rage? We shouldn’t be asking why they hate us, we should be asking why they are still here. Also, what sort of collective psychosis produces pictures such as the one accompanying this article? The fact that there are soldiers and policemen protecting mosques while the men who worship within them systematically murder helpless Europeans symbolizes how besieged Western civilization is at the moment.

The fact that the vast majority of citizens in countries like Germany now recognize that Islam does not belong in their country might be reassuring if their rulers cared about their lives and concerns, but there is absolutely no indication that they do. In fact, quite the opposite. Europe is now led by men and women whose chief response to this ongoing terror is to deny reality. Don’t expect these people to acknowledge the dreadful mistake they’ve made, a mistake which condemns hundreds of millions of Europeans to a bleak future dominated by fear and despair. The invasion will proceed until the people of Europe decide to stand up to this new form of multiculturalist despotism and stand against the sort of vibrant diversity which asks them to surrender their fundamental values.
