Media coverage of the prolonged anti-white brutalization of a mentally challenged boy has been despicable. From the politically correct know-nothingism of Shephard Smith, to the antiseptic-and confusing-reports from the Associated Press, to the anti-Trump non sequiturs bankrolled by Latin American Marxists, to the repugnant coverage of CNN, there has been blanket denialism from the left. The same press organs which trumpeted “news” of hate crimes which to the last turned out to be complete and utter hoaxes have decided that four sadistic barbarians kidnapping, humiliating and torturing a handicapped young man because he is white-over the course of 2 days-is a big nothing burger. Just like the torture and murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were ignored by the national media because it did not dovetail with their specious racial narratives, this horrific crime is being downplayed and misrepresented by those who specialize in untruths.

Sadly, we can expect more of these “incidents” to occur in the years ahead, even as blatant lies about rising Islamophobia and Trump-inspired attacks upon racial minorities are treated as gospel. As Mark Steyn pointed out on today’s Rush Limbaugh Show, this toxic climate has been produced by decades of antipathy driven by the media, academe, and Hollywood, which has only been ramped up in the wake of Donald Trump’s election as President. I actually agree with Don Lemon’s widely condemned comment that these sociopaths had bad home training. However, the problem is that their home training-or non-training, as the case may be-is the direct result of a terrible philosophy propagated by people like Don Lemon.

The multigenerational poverty, crime, poor education outcomes, and family dysfunction is inextricably linked to the progressive shibboleths that have governed this nation’s inner cities for over half a century. The meta-narrative that these problems spring from institutional white racism has only compounded the misery endured by millions of black Americans living in urban dead zones, as well as that experienced by the occasional white victim of this intellectually suffocating mentality. The sneering dismissal which greeted Donald Trump’s pitch to African-American voters in every liberal newsroom illustrates how detached our ruling class is from reality as its lived by millions of Americans. Merely repeating a self-evident truth which doesn’t comport with their politically correct vision of the world was enough to mark him as a buffoon, notwithstanding the fact that liberal think tanks and socialist magazines invest tremendous resources into demonstrating how blacks are disproportionately the victims of ‘gun violence.’

The hypocrisy is stunning, and it needs to be pointed out whenever it rears its head, even if it means some judicious cyber-trolling. Even though the phrase hate crime is a wholly artificial construct-subject to manipulation and distortion by those with a vested interest in demonizing certain segments of the population-we need highlight the fruits of hatred which the ruling class and its weaponized cultural movements, such as Black Lives Matter, is harvesting. This was not the first, nor will it be the last, example of the media denying reality. Do not let them get away with it. Your life and the lives of others may depend upon it.

Yesterday’s press conference was remarkable for a number of reasons, not least because it revealed the naked contempt this nation’s media has for the men and women who’ve served in the Armed Forces. A sneering condescension that they can’t mask, even as they bang the drums for more interventions in the quagmire of the Mid-East, i.e. more chaos, more refugees deluging Europe and North America, and more power for jihadists of every stripe and sect. You can just imagine the sulfuric rage these reporters had to suppress as they were forced to listen to a group of reactionary knuckle-draggers who had done nothing for their country, quite unlike the roster of exemplary Americans Hillary has assembled.

As if watching these troglodytes, who obviously don’t live in the current year, prattle on about their support of Donald Trump weren’t bad enough, our esteemed press corps had to endure the humiliation of seeing their beloved narrative vanish into thin air. The utter gall of a candidate willing to reveal how a cudgel used to impute racism to the Republican Party actually originated within the Hillary Clinton campaign! The next thing you know he’ll be implying that Sidney Blumenthal, Hillary’s very own Rasputin, was going around telling journalists that Barack Obama, the future President, was born in Kenya. Or that the Clinton machine tried to smear him in order to win the 2008 Democratic primary. Or perhaps that the Clintons view the President with disdain? Can you believe the gall of this scoundrel?!

The biggest insight to be gleaned from yesterday’s media event, however, is the discovery of how self-deluded the media remain about their own ignorance. These are individuals and entities which believe themselves to be the height of enlightened, progressive, cosmopolitan thought. In fact, many pursued their vocation expressly because it gave them the opportunity to hector those benighted cretins living in flyover states who believe in antiquated concepts like borders. Yet here they were being humbled by a vulgarian who was gauche enough to become an entrepreneur rather than pursue a respectable career like news editor of Buzzfeed or professional Hispanic activist masquerading as journalist. Even as they publicly conceded being duped by Donald Trump, acting like petulant little children who had their favorite toy taken away, they cloaked this admission in an aura of insufferable condescension, the one area in which they excel.

The reaction to the MSM’s Austerlitz on social media is equally revealing. I’m thinking specifically of this comment, which encapsulates the ethos of Twitter political commentary, i.e. an inapt pop culture reference about a  TV show which was cutting-edge 2 decades ago. No, Donald Trump is not Homer Simpson, and journalists are not Frank Grimes. He is the Roadrunner, while his hapless inquisitors are variants of Wile E. Coyote, i.e. characters who vastly overestimate their own intelligence. Yes, they hate him because his values, primarily his emphasis on American exceptionalism and distinctness-with its corresponding acceptance of national borders-are anathema to them. But that is not the reason why he drives them into rage spirals and the depths of despair-and compels them to publicly dissect their own psychological trauma in print and on television.

Trump derangement syndrome results from the fact that he not only knows how to play the game, but how to win it. On some subconscious level, the media recognize something that their acolytes refuse to even consider. Namely, that Trump-unlike any other Republican politician or conservative public figure in recent memory-understands what motivates the drive-by media and is using that knowledge to meticulously demolish them. Trump is the anti-Romney, and it drives the left, neo-Buckleyites and  the targets of his precision-guided missiles absolutely batty.

As for the rest of us, we’re delighted.

As many of you might know, today marks the official commemoration of Earth Day, a holiday conceived by the unfortunately named U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970 and celebrated by self-styled environmentally conscious individuals every year on this day since. You might be wondering why I would choose to address this subject on a website whose purpose is ostensibly far removed from the subject of environmentalism.

The answer to that question is very simple. Although usually framed either as an economic or a cultural argument, one of the most compelling reasons to reduce the excessive immigration into this country that’s occurred over the past two decades-and shows no sign of abating in the near future-is an environmental one. Namely, the depletion of resources, overpopulation, and generally degraded quality of life that’s attendant with our current, extraordinarily high level of immigration.

Many of you might be surprised to learn that some of the founding fathers of environmental activism in the latter half of the 20th century were not only committed to making the air, earth, and water cleaner, but were equally devoted to making our country more habitable by strictly limiting the mass immigration that has irrevocably altered so much of the American landscape. Although now nothing more than another liberal interest group, the Sierra Club used to openly broach this topic on a regular basis. And despite environmental activists like former Colorado governor Richard Lamm and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society founder Paul Watson continuing their crusade to address the ecological devastation caused by excessive immigration, the mainstream environmental movement has all but abandoned this cause.

That’s why highlighting the damage engendered by this feckless attitude is so vital, on this day above all others. Toward that end, I’m posting links to a congressional hearing that explored the widespread destruction of precious resources on federal land by Mexican drug cartels, which are thriving in places federal land management bureaucrats have sequestered from immigration enforcement agents and police, even as their sanctity is routinely violated by ruthless narco-cartels that have set up shop inside of this country’s federally sanctioned no-go areas.

As you watch those videos, pay acute attention to the haughty disdain displayed by Government Accountability Office flack Anu K. Mitall. Notwithstanding the title of her agency, she casually dismisses the concerns of Border Patrol agents-men and women who put their lives at risk in order to ensure our nation’s security-and imputes blame for this fiasco to them, rather than questioning the misguided priorities of the bureaucracy that prevents them from doing their jobs. It is truly a breathtaking performance, but not in a way that’s complimentary to the GAO.

Adam Carolla has a joke poking fun at the finicky eating habits of vegetarians. It’s not that vegetarians love vegetables, it’s that they love cows. Oh, and hate people. Although amusing, I think it gives short shrift to herbivores, insofar as I’ve found most to be very agreeable, even when dining out with their meat-eating friends. That said, I do think this description, with the requisite tweaks, can be applied to the official environmental movement-and the ostensible stewards of the environment within the federal bureaucracy-with a great degree of truth. They do not care about the environment as such, because if they did, they wouldn’t allow Mexican drug cartels to set up shop within our national forests. They would certainly denounce the environmental devastation wrought by millions of border-crossers who’ve wreaked havoc upon the delicate ecosystems that exist within this nation’s border states.

They would do what real environmentalists like Richard Lamm and Paul Watson, and immigration enforcement and reform activists at Numbers USA, are doing. Namely, attempt to rein in the exponential growth of immigration into this country before we don’t have a fresh parcel of land on which to celebrate the earth. This Earth Day, recognize true patriot and real eco-warriors, not the corporate-sponsored, La Raza-approved, K Street lobbyists who are promoting the empty charade we’re encouraged to engage in on this day.
