Gerard Perry

A third-generation Brooklynite, Gerard Perry's ancestors emigrated from Manhattan. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a B.A. in American Studies and a minor in English. In the past, he's worked as the chief spokesperson for New Yorkers for Immigration Control and Enforcement. He is also a member of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, and has previously collaborated with unions, public officials, and other immigration reform activists who want to address the issue of illegal aliens and their cumulative cost to society. He's testified at public hearings convened to examine former governor Elliot Spitzer's scheme to give illegal aliens driver's licenses, and has appeared in numerous public forums speaking about and debating immigration issues. He has been interviewed by both National Public Radio, and El Diario La Prensa.American Rattlesnake's work has been referred to by National Review Online and its coverage of the Occupy Wall Street movement has appeared on Reason Magazine and Wikipedia.
