Just a few snippets culled from the horrific tableaux that is Tacloban after being devastated by Typhoon Haiyan. There are already recovery efforts underway by the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as national and global charities such as Samaritan’s Purse and the Red Cross, which is being assisted by map-makers eager to facilitate the distribution of much-needed emergency supplies.
Another worthy rescue and recovery organization, whose efforts we’ve profiled in the past, helping the people of The Philippines is Team Rubicon, which is helping to provide emergency medical care to Haiyan survivors through Operation Seabird.
