That, of course, is Mark Krikorian, the tireless executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies. The CIS, in hopes of cultivating a broader audience among New York City’s intellectuals, activists, journalists, and others concerned about the deleterious impact of mass immigration upon our society, has sponsored a series of lectures by distinguished experts on this subject at the Penn Club in the heart of Manhattan this year. Today’s guest speaker-the penultimate of the series-was Roy Beck, the founder and executive director of Numbers USA, the premiere grassroots organization in this country devoted to restoring sanity to federal immigration policy.
I’ll have a full write-up of today’s event shortly, but until then I recommend reading my live-tweet of Mr. Beck’s speech, which can be found on my Twitter page, or by searching the hash tag NumbersUSA.
I’m sorry I missed it. I think CIS is haveing another one on May 15. I’ll do my best to make that one
