Victory

Although it might look like a small win-the general election is still ahead of us-Kris Kobach, one of the chief architects of SB 1070, and perhaps the most dedicated and innovative legal mind defending states against illegal trespassers and their enablers, has just defeated his opponents in the Republican primary for Kansas Secretary of State.

This coming November he’ll be facing acting Secretary of State Chris Briggs in a general election. And if you need an explanation for the wide margin of victory, you need only look to his opponents-not in the GOP, but within the mainstream media. Expect a barrage of criticism from the same people who’ve been trying to thwart the citizens of Arizona if and when Kobach is finally sworn into office next year.
